We recently welcomed two new Customer Service Coordinators to our Customer Services team, Anna Chadwick and Laricelle Fouchee. So we thought we’d get to know them a little better by asking them a few questions.
Meet Anna
What qualifications do you have?
I have a Bachelor of Sciences in Physical Geography.
What’s your background/what roles have you done previously?
Before joining Brownlee Cale I was a supervisor in a local pub. I came into this full time after working for the owners part time during covid and fell in love with being back in a customer-oriented environment after working from home for two years.
Previously, I was a customer service advisor for an accident repair centre, after working for the North East Environment Agency as a Customer Service Coordinator and as PA to a senior management team. Before that I spent a bit of time as an Apprentice Network Surveyor for Cyient Engineering.
What will you be doing in your new role?
As a Customer Service Coordinator, I recruit for construction and civil engineering, looking at both temporary contract and permanent placements across the UK.
Why did you choose to join the company?
I set myself a goal of discovering and focusing on a new long term career path for the start of 2023, and the opportunity to join Brownlee Cale at such an exciting time for the company was perfect timing for me to do that. The scope to learn and develop in a brand new environment while still working in a customer service role is how I knew it was the right step for me.
What interests do you have?
Outside of work I spend most of time running, cycling and swimming. I also have a love for cooking having worked in hospitality part time alongside full time roles for the past 8 years.
Meet Laricelle
Laricelle is from Pretoria,South Africa, and now lives in the North East.
What qualifications do you have?
I have a BCom in Human Resource Management, Bachelor of Laws, and an Advanced Certificate in Labour Law from the University of Pretoria, South Africa. I am currently studying a LLM in Mediation and International Commercial Dispute Resolution at Newcastle University.
What’s your background/what roles have you done previously?
Before joining Brownlee Cale I was a receptionist at a medical practice and an Administration Clerk for a logistics company. After that, I worked as a Human Resource Manager at a Venture Capitalist for and a Candidate Attorney at a recognised law firm. I was Admitted Attorney of the High Court of South Africa and a Legal Consultant.
What will you be doing in your new role?
I’m part of the Customer Service team, recruiting for permanent roles in Commercial, Operational and Pre-Construction roles in the Civil Engineering and Build sectors.
Why did you choose to join the company?
I chose to join Brownlee Cale because it was an opportunity to join a respected team in this industry.
What interests do you have?
Outside of work I enjoy spending quality time with my family, and looking after my physical and mental health.
