Construction Site Managers 

The Company 

A successful building and construction contractor who have great success in delivering award winning projects across the UK is currently looking to recruit an additional Site Manager and Senior Site Manager for their ever-expanding Northeast portfolio. 

The Role 

We are looking to recruit a further 2no Site Managers to their Operational Team. 

You will be a Site Manager who has extensive experience of managing construction projects from inception to completion on behalf of the Principal Contractor as No1 or No2 on site. 

Responsibilities 

• Managing the programme  

• Managing all Sub Contractors & Trades & Labour on site 

• Procurement of Labour & Materials 

• Ensuring work is carried out in accordance with all specifications 

• Oversee and enforce a high level of Health & Safety, Quality and Environmental processes 

• Produce RAMS 

• Hold tool-box talks and Inductions 

• Report progress and issues to the Contracts Manager on a weekly basis 

• Liaising with any consultants, subcontractors, supervisors, planners, quantity surveyors and the general workforce involved in the project 

• Communicating with clients and their representatives? 

• Resolving any unexpected challenges and issues 

• Take responsibility for ensuring the project is completed in time and to budget

Essential; 

• Proven experience of managing projects as No1 or No2 on behalf of the Principal Contractor. 

• Degree or equivalent in Construction Project Management or Civil Engineering 

• SMSTS, First Aid, CSCS 

Remuneration 

All projects will be based in the Northeast and offer a competitive Basic Salary plus package comprising car allowance, pension contributions and bonus.
