We’re working with a well-established regional construction company, known for delivering high-quality projects across commercial, education, and public sector frameworks. With a turnover of £30m and a strong pipeline of repeat business, they’re now looking to appoint an Estimating Manager to lead their pre-construction effort.

The Role

You’ll be responsible for managing a small team of Estimators and overseeing the full tendering process — from initial enquiry to final submission. The work includes a mix of competitive tenders and negotiated opportunities with existing clients.

You’ll be hands-on with pricing, confident with both Causeway and Excel, and bring a strategic eye to risk, value engineering, and bid quality. You’ll work closely with Directors and the commercial team to maintain a steady workflow and secure profitable projects.

What They’re Looking For

• Proven experience in estimating within the construction industry

• Strong knowledge of tender processes for main contracting

• Familiarity with Causeway and Excel software

• Experience leading or mentoring a team

• A collaborative approach and clear communication with clients and supply chain
