Site Manager  – Civils  
 
Brownlee Dean are looking for an experienced Site Manager for a permanent placement with a Civil Engineering Contractor based in the North East.

The role:
 
Reporting directly to the Contracts Manager you will be responsible for managing projects from inception through to completion; 
 

• The role will involve managing all aspects of Health & Safety 
• Ensuring all activities are competed to the highest standards regarding environmental, quality and time restraints 
• Responsible for ensuring company procedures and systems are adhered to and updated accordingly 
• Planning, measuring and monitoring the progress of the works completed 
• Ensuring compliance with the project budget and programme 
• Managing the project delivery team and monitoring their performance 
• Mentoring junior members of the site team 
• Identifying potential problem areas, financial issues and contributing strategies to overcome these 

 
Pre-requisites 
 

• Black CSCS
• SSSTS
• SMSTS
• First Aid
• Experience of being both on site and managing paperwork in the office
• Liaising and working well with others on site
