Are you an experienced General Foreman/Civils Site Manager looking for your next freelance contract? 

We’re recruiting a General Foreman with civil engineering projects experience to work for an established infrastructure civil engineering contractor, on a project in Hull. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervising gangs of plant operators & groundworkers
• Deliver morning briefings
• Monitoring and enforcing HSE
• Toolbox talks
• Carrying out risk assessments
• Approving RAMS
• Practical hands-on approach
• Ensure the completion of works on time and within budget
• Keep site diary
• Issuing permits 

Desirable:

As a General Foreman you will have extensive experience in working on civil engineering projects in a similar role. 

• Extensive experience of the construction industry, specifically within a general civils environment.
• Roads and highways experience (desirable)
• CSCS Card
• SMSTS
• First Aid (preferable)
• Health & Safety conscious.
