Our client a leading Contractor in the Construction / Mining Industry are looking for a Buyer to join their busy purchasing and logistics team.

The ideal candidate will – 

Ideally hold a procurement related qualification like CIPS is preferred but not necessarily required (or working towards one).

Experience as a buyer/junior buyer or someone that has worked in a procurement team is essential.  Ideally in the construction, quarry or mining industries. 

Someone that will work well under pressure, as the role is central to a very busy purchasing team

Proficiency with Microsoft packages and Adobe is essential. As is working on detailed Excel spreadsheets.  

A candidate with great people skills is ideal, that can work with clients, suppliers and staff at all levels.
