Our client a leading Contractor in the Construction / Mining Industry are looking for a Buyer to join their busy purchasing and logistics team.

The ideal candidate will – 

Ideally hold a procurement related qualification like CIPS is preferred. Candidate must be able to provide evidence of qualifications. 

Experience as a buyer or junior buyer that has worked in a procurement team is essential.  Ideally in the construction, quarry or mining industries. 

Someone that will work well under pressure, as the role is central to a very busy purchasing team.

Proficiency with Microsoft packages and Adobe is essential. As is working on detailed Excel spreadsheets.  

A candidate with great people skills is ideal, that can work with clients, suppliers and staff at all levels.

A competitive salary (in the region of £30 – £35k dependant on experience) and benefits package is available to the successful candidate.
